Research, analysis, insight
I help organisations navigate complex social and political issues by connecting rigorous research, stakeholder perspectives, and practical solutions.
My work draws on more than fifteen years of experience spanning academia, policy, and practice, including a doctorate from SOAS, a postdoctoral fellowship at Cambridge, and authorship of the flagship report for the UK's national Commission on the Integration of Refugees. I have worked extensively across Europe and the Middle East—including Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Bosnia, France, Egypt, the UK, and Northern Ireland—leading multi-stakeholder research projects, coordinating stakeholder engagement processes, and facilitating dialogue across divided communities.
I am committed to bringing marginalised perspectives into conversations and helping organisations navigate complexity with confidence, nuance, and credibility. Whether you're developing policy, commissioning research, responding to community tensions, or designing a new programme, I can help you understand the evidence, engage the right stakeholders, and translate insight into action through meaningful and targeted storytelling.
how i work
Many organisations struggle because evidence, policy, and lived experience often sit in separate worlds.
Researchers produce evidence that decision-makers do not use. Communities are consulted but not heard. Policymakers face urgent decisions without access to nuanced analysis or understanding.
My role is to connect these worlds.
I work with think tanks, foundations, NGOs, universities, and public-sector organisations that need:
Evidence synthesis and literature reviews
Research design, management, and evaluation
Stakeholder engagement and consultation
Policy reports and strategic briefings
Workshops, facilitation, and listening exercises
Insight into migration, integration, and social cohesionIf you’re trying to shift a conversation that facts alone can’t move, let’s talk.
